Doors is one of the scariest and most popular horror games on Roblox. You navigate through a procedurally generated hotel, opening doors while surviving deadly entities. Each entity has unique mechanics, and knowing how to deal with every single one is the difference between reaching Door 100 and dying on Door 15. This guide explains every entity and how to survive them.

💨 Rush
- Warning sign: Lights flicker rapidly.
- How to survive: Immediately hide in a closet, under a bed, or in a vent.
- Do not come out until the sound of Rush passing has completely faded.
- Rush kills instantly on contact. No second chances.
🔄 Ambush
- Warning sign: Same as Rush (flickering lights) but Ambush bounces back and forth multiple times.
- How to survive: Hide when it comes, exit your hiding spot immediately after it passes, then jump back in when you hear it returning.
- Repeat until the sound stops completely (usually 3-6 passes).
- Staying in the closet too long triggers Hide (see below), so you must exit and re-enter.
👂 Screech
- Warning sign: A "psst" whisper sound.
- How to survive: Quickly look around (spin your camera) until you find Screech. Staring directly at it makes it vanish.
- If you do not look at it in time, it bites you for significant damage.
- Screech spawns in dark rooms. Keep a light source ready.
👁️ Eyes
- Warning sign: Bluish-purple glowing eyes floating in a room.
- How to survive: Do NOT look at Eyes. Turn your camera toward the floor or a wall and walk past.
- Looking directly at Eyes drains your health rapidly.
- Eyes can spawn anywhere. Always scan rooms before entering fully.
🚫 Halt
- Warning sign: Your vision becomes glitchy and you enter a long hallway.
- How to survive: Walk forward. When the screen says "Turn Around," immediately reverse direction.
- Repeat following the prompts until you reach the end of the hallway.
- Ignoring the prompts deals heavy damage.
🏃 Seek (Chase Boss)
- Warning sign: Eye symbols appear on walls and the floor turns dark and gooey.
- How to survive: Follow the glowing doors during the chase sequence.
- Crouch under obstacles (fallen shelves, barriers) to avoid damage.
- Do not stop running. Seek catches up fast if you hesitate.
- Memorize the safe path. The correct doors always glow.
🎭 Figure (Boss - Door 50 & 100)
- Figure is blind but has excellent hearing. It tracks you by sound.
- Stay crouched at all times to minimize noise.
- Walk slowly and avoid bumping into objects (shelves, tables make noise).
- If Figure gets close, hide in a closet and complete the heartbeat mini-game (press the correct keys when prompted).
- Door 50: Find books to solve the library puzzle while avoiding Figure.
- Door 100: Final boss. Solve the puzzle while Figure patrols aggressively.
🚪 Other Entities
- Hide - Forces you out of closets if you stay too long. Screen glitches and says "GET OUT." Leave immediately or take heavy damage.
- Dupe - Creates a fake door. Check door numbers carefully. Fake doors have subtle growling sounds.
- Jack - Jumps out of closets to scare you. Harmless but startling.
- Timothy - A spider that jumps from drawers. Small damage but mostly a jumpscare.
- Snare - Floor traps in dark rooms. Move carefully and use light to spot them.
🎒 Item Guide
- Lighter - Basic light source. Helps spot Screech, Snare, and navigate dark rooms.
- Flashlight - Brighter than lighter. Preferred light source. Uses batteries.
- Crucifix - Destroys one entity. Save for Ambush, Seek, or Figure encounters.
- Vitamins - Speed boost. Useful for outrunning entities or escaping Figure.
- Lockpick - Opens locked chests for loot. Use on every locked chest you find.
- Bandages - Heals health. Keep one in inventory for emergencies.
🧠 General Survival Tips
- Audio is everything. Play with headphones. Every entity has unique sound cues.
- Always have a light source. Dark rooms spawn Screech and hide Snare traps.
- Save the Crucifix. Do not waste it on Rush. Save it for harder encounters.
- Loot carefully. Prioritize survival over collecting items when you hear entity cues.
- Practice makes perfect. Each death teaches you entity patterns and timing.
- Play with friends. Co-op makes callouts easier and the game less terrifying.
